Lexy & Matthew: A University Parks Oxford Engagement Session

Is this couple cute or what? I hadn't seen Lexy and Matthew in person prior to their engagement shoot in Oxford, so I had no idea what they're going to be like (and vice versa, of course). From their e-mails, I knew that they're a really warm and friendly couple, but what a treat it was to finally meet them! We hit it off right away, and I couldn't wait to whip out my camera and start snapping shots of Lexy's gorgeous smile and Matthew's adoring looks (yes, he actually did look at her with ADORATION).

Throughout the whole shoot, they were so attentive towards each other it made me go "Awww!" about 15 times. Matt was forever kissing Lexy's forehead whilst she told me to stop bullying her fiance. ;) They both had big, open laughs, the kind that makes you want to laugh along with them. I love these guys! Fadly & Aya: A Jakarta Wedding

I apologize for having so few pictures of this amazing Indonesian wedding... unfortunately, I was not allowed to step inside the mosque where the ceremony was being held due to certain religious rules. No worries though, I was working with another photographer at this time and he covered the ceremony and reception whilst I peeped through the windows with envy.

What a miserable 2 hours I spent, watching this wonderfully touching wedding ceremony unfold, wishing I could capture shots of the bride and groom as they said their vows (the groom could barely hold back his tears when he saw his gorgeous bride)! The imam heading the ceremony was full of jokes, putting the emotional couple at ease and peppering his sermon with humorous little anecdotes. Truly an amazing experience to have, even from a hundred feet away!
