Anjileen's wedding was a bittersweet occasion for me-- sweet because I had the honor of being a bridesmaid in her wedding, bitter because she was just so drop-dead gorgeous that day that a dozen times I found myself wishing that I had my camera with me. It was pure torture from a photographer's standpoint to be in the midst of so much vibrant beauty and not be able to take any pictures. Add to that the fact that Anji has what is surely the most photogenic smile I have come across, and there you have it: I was just torn between being happy for my best friend and sighing wistfully for my camera! Luckily for me, I was able to attend her sangeet the day before and take as many pictures as I wanted to. So phew! I did not come away empty-handed, and I am immensely grateful for that because (le sigh!)...well, just look at how stunning Anji is! Categories:
