Who can forget Jessica and Matt, the adorable couple whose engagement session was featured on Whimisical Wonderland Weddings? To say that after our Oxford engagement shoot I was looking forward to their wedding would be the understatement of the year. Jessica is not only a natural beauty who has a face that my camera loves to bits, she also has the most lovable personality ever! I just want to put her in my pocket and take her home! (Okay, I don't, stop giving me dirty looks Matt.) Aaanywho, like I said after our engagement session, Matt is also a treat to work with. Easy-going and amicable, I can totally see how the two of them compliment each other. All right, I think I've said enough for now...scroll on down to see this amazing Coventry wedding!
Don't forget about the slideshow!
I have to give my heartfelt appreciation to Jessica and Matt's family, who welcomed me and Mike with open arms. From the time I arrived at their house for the bridal prep, Jessica's family made sure they kept us well-fed and treated us with such warmth that we felt more like guests than anything else. And can I just say how much I loved the priest who married Jessica and Matt? Before the ceremony began, he waved me over and called out, "Someone get her a chair!" Before I knew it, my boots were off and I was standing on a chair, photographing the wedding procession from a bird-eye's view. Bom diggity, did I feel privileged or what!
After the beautiful ceremony, Jessica and Matt's chauffeur kindly led the way to the War Memorial Park in Coventry for their bridal portraits. Jessica and Matt's bridal session was reminiscent of their engagement session. On both occasions it was drizzling and on both occasions, Jessica rallied our spirits and embraced the moment. (See, I told you she's lovable.) Mike and their chauffeur gallantly offered to hold umbrellas over our heads, but in the end we decided to brave the rain...and I am so glad we did! Jessica and Matt, you are such a wonderful couple and I enjoyed every second I spent at your wedding. It couldn't have been any sweeter than it already is!
