Last night, as we sat in our PJs with hot mugs of tea in our hands, Mike asked me what has been my favorite part of 2011 in terms of photography. It had been meant to be a simple question, I'm sure, but it took me so long to think of an answer that Mike had finished half of his drink before I opened my mouth. The thing is, there were simply too many things worth celebrating in 2011. Getting featured on prestigious wedding websites like Love My Dress and Whimsical Wonderland Weddings, for example. Getting to experience new things like photographing a wedding in a cinema museum...photographing my first Hindi ceremony...so many couples have opened their arms to me and welcomed me as one of their own.

On that note, I'd like to take a moment to thank all my lovely couples for having me as their photographer on the most important day of their lives. I'm sure this has been said before, but being a wedding photographer is truly an honor. It always hits me what a privilege it is to be able to capture moments that are so intimate between a couple. Already I know that 2012 will bring with it its own share of heart-melting moments and even higher goals to achieve...and after everything that 2011 has brought me, I can't wait to see what's in store for 2012. I hope everyone's had a wonderful new year!
