"I'm really bad at posing for pictures," warned Lukxmi as I set up my camera. I looked at her for a second, taking in her dark eyes and infectious smile.
"You'll be just fine," I said. And you know what? I was totally right, of course. ;)
We were fortunate to catch a rare day of sunshine and kicked off the engagement shoot at the Christ Church Meadows in Oxford early so as to beat the Sunday crowd. I'm not a morning person (even though I like to encourage my couples to shoot at sunrise to catch the best possible light) and neither are Lukxmi and Paul, but being around them is like settling down with a hot mug of rich coffee. It's obvious within the first few minutes of meeting them that they're ridiculously intelligent (they're both doctors), but they're so friendly and easy-going that I found myself talking to them as easily as though we'd known each other for a long time.
Of course, it helps that Lukxmi is so friggin' pretty. Would I kill for eyes like that? Yes, yes I would.
I had such a great time photographing Lukxmi and Paul's engagement shoot...I truly canNOT wait for their wedding in June. Now, if only Oxford would stop raining...
