I have to admit, the morning I woke up and saw that it was raining in Oxford, I started getting all nervous and nail-bitey. I'd been looking forward to Jessica and Matt's engagement shoot you see, especially every since Jessica told me that they're each bringing two outfits. I'd envisioned a shoot full of Oxford's gorgeous architecture--the Sheldonian Theatre, Radcliffe Camera, and of course, Blackwell. Thank gawd we didn't cancel the shoot because the drizzling rain made everything look dewy and fresh, and anyway, no rain could dampen Jessica's bubbliness! I feel like Jessica fell right out of some photographer's fantasy, because she was just the perfect model: sweet, a great sport, and of course, head-turningly beautiful. Hmmm, head-turningly...is that even a word? Anyway, you get what I mean. Matt, as most guys go, wasn't as gung ho about having his pictures taken at first, but as time went by, he really started getting into the shoot, coming up with his own poses that were reminiscent of GQ models. (Yes, we did tease him just a teeny bit about it.) In fact, they were both so photogenic that after about 40 minutes, I was confident enough to call it a day. See what I mean about them being a photographer's dream? Categories:

What a lovely engagement shoot! Lovely poses - very romantic, and great locations around Oxford, despite the weather! Beautiful work x
Thank you Gemma...that means a lot coming from someone like you!
what an amazing session - love how you captured the transition from traditional to modern/casual. great work!
Thanks Rich! I did love the fact that they brought two different outfits...they were so creative it made my job so much easier!
Oh wow, so colorful and pretty. Love the shots in the library, and that purple dress made such a pretty contrast with green.
